Online programs teach students the skills required for interpreting and manipulating data sets. Other topics available are ANOVA (analysis of variance), probability distributions and risk analysis. Regression analysis is also widely studied.
Basic and advanced regressions are covered in detail. Students will also learn about mathematical statistics. Different kinds of tests are also available. Among the most widely used are chi-square and T-tests.
The number varies depending on the site. They are usually divided between introductory courses, data mining, environment, business engineering, stat methods, life science and many others.
